Hope this works...

Normally, my thing is making model engines, but I uncovered this engine at weekend at Dad's - bound to be a Lister or Petter diesel of some sort, is it worth saving or is time for the great blast furnace i the sky?

Hello and welcome! welcome sign

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to identify your engine. Is it restorable? How much of a challenge do you like?

Petter diesel engine probably type PAZ1. Would be a fairly challenging restoration, at a minimum your going to need a fuel pump, air ducting and probably injector overhaul (and I'm assuming its not siezed). If it were mine I'd rescue any re-usable parts and give the rest a one way trip to China Very Happy Laughing

Hi Steve, welcome aboard, if it's a PAZ1, this should give you an idea of what should be fitted.
