Unknown air cooled engine

As I said in my post in the new members section I am clearing a deceased relative’s garage. This engine has no ID plate or maker’s marks.  Could anybody help with identification please?

I have been given the task of clearing the garage and am trying to identify what is in there. It’s a bit of an Aladdin’s cave and I keep being surprised by what I find. The aim is to clear the garage so I will be looking to sell privately or auction. It is difficult to work out what many of the bits are and if anyone else would want them. For example yesterday I found some pumps and sets of cast iron wheels, along with as crate of stationary engine magazines in folders.

If youve got sets of 4 cast wheels you will have no problem finding homes for them, I've recently found homes for a past friends engines and other stuff.

Thank you. When I moved the engine I found the ID plate and it is an A1 serial 1503274.
