If you would like to try the app

Open the forum in your browser (not all supported).
Switch to Portal Page
Look for download link to the right of url box
Click to download.
It seems to work OK but please NOTE I cannot provide any support

What does the APP do that my laptop or phone cant do, I can see the forum on both.

App is fine Paul, I always use it on my mobile as it fits the screen better. Navigation is of course essentially different but ok once familiar. However my pictures don’t auto size

Nothing much, but may perform better depending on your hardware / operating system. Have a search for Progressive web application.
