New Member - Robin

Hi,
New member just checking in, new to the world of "actually" owning a stsationary engine for real, just waiting for the WD8 to arrive.

Electrical engineer for 3.5 decades, not sharing my age just yet, mechanical engineering in the family in one form or another, especially in the model engineering world, as I said Electrical engineer, but garage equipped with Myford 7, Mill and all the goodies to make good stuff oh and an RD350LC that has been with me for the last 20 odd years.

Have machined and assembled quite a few Stuart Turner steam engines in the last few years, so thought it was time to scale up a bit, after a trip to the local steam / vintage show and a good look at whats what, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a Wolseley WD8, its a runner but needs a bit of TLC and a fettle.

Was told WD8 a good place to start, solid simple engines.. hope that holds true

Just doing the background research and stumbled on this forum, looking for manuals advice and guidence.. all accepted
