Hi all, just introducing myself, I’m Charlie and I’ve recently been asked to refurbish an amanco 4 mule team engine. However like many of my grandads other projects (and I’m sure he’s not the only one) “all the parts are definitely there” so I’ll be making another post with some pictures of what I’ve got as a starting point. I’ll also be asking for any advice anyone could give me in terms of what I’m missing any parts and assembly info etc.
I’m an apprentice agricultural engineer however the world of stationary engines and vintage machinery is new to me but I’m very excited at starting this project and hopefully many more for the foreseeable future.
