Am i correct in saying that to start a tulip top correctly your spose to poor some fuel into the fuel bowl which also acts as a choke ???? This is what i have been told by someone, just wanted to confirm it Very Happy

more or less yes. you will also need to open the needled valve adjuster slightly more aswell

its not a case of turns, its a case of a fraction of a turn, if you engine has the origonal srewed needle valve, there should be 2 tapped holes in the round dial face grip. these origionaly had a set screw in. any where between these 2 holes is ok
