PETTER M Empty PETTER M

Post by Nick Sun Aug 08 2010, 04:27

I have acquired a Petter M type engine. The spec plate is missing but the No. on the flywheel is 73950 with a 2 above. The cover on the rear of the engine is missing and the oiler is rotted away. Can anyone help with info or pictures so that these parts could be made up.

Do you know what horse power the engine is? and what type of oiler, cast iron, brass/glass wine glass shape or calibrator model. Details will help with spare parts.

Hi Nick,

the "2" represents the flywheel number, there will be a number and a 1 on the other flywheel, there may even be engine numbers on the flywheel keys.

the oilers usually turn up on ebay. can you post up a picture of your engine so we can ID which M it is.
