HELP PLEASE ROPESTART PULLEY REMOVAL FROM JAP 4-6

HI I CANT SEE A WAY OF REMOVING THE ROPE START PULLEY FROM MY
JAP 4/3 TYPE ENGINE
ITS AN ALL ALLOY PULLEY SO ASK FIRST AND TRY NOT TO BREAK LATER lol

On my 2A (2S) I took out the centre nut and the wheel just slid off. If you need to use a puller make sure you can grip behind the whole thing and not on the pulley bit itself.

hi there
DANBOY YOU ARE CORRECT FOR THE 2A/S as i have them to
but the 4/1 4/2 4/3 E30
remember this one for your larger japs with a big alloy rope start pulley
there is a 2-3mm hole in the front center of the pulley
SPRAY A LUBRICATION FLUID OIL /WD40
leave to soak for a day or so
then with a block of wood or a soft hammer ie leather or rubber
hit the rope slot in the reverse direction to the engine running one
MINE STARTED TO LOOSEN AND THEN TREADED OF BY HAND
