Yes Jeff and Joe have a good collection of American engines, I see them a few times during the season but not all at once of course! Thank's for posting the pics.

Re: A collection of engines.
It's an engine enthusiasts dream, what a cracking collection, looks as if there stuck for more room LOL. It must take hours to set them up when someone visits. Peter when you first said I was expecting a big house with a long drive, that just looks like a normal house by the side of a road. Now that's a place I'd like to have a look around, even better if one or 2 were running then I could watch them all day.
Thanks for posting the pics Peter and asking the owners permission if he minded them being put on the forum.
Stu.

Just watched the videos again and what gets me is there's no mess anywhere, so do they have a workshop for all the mess or does he have OCD
My favorite engine is 3.30 into the first video, not 100% sure what it is but it runs and sounds fantastic.

Re: A collection of engines.
That would be the Amanco Hired Man. Nice but relatively common in this country.
My choice would be err... well as many as I could fit in the car! but particularly the rather nice small hot tube gas engine on the shelf next to the equally nice Heinrici Hot Air Engine or the Johnny Boy out the front with the very rare Webster Mag. on its original truck.
There are oil spots on the stones if you look Stu, but at least you could kick the stones around and loose them

Hi mate yes it is my old series 1 marshall had it for about twelve years then sold it on to get back into engines,
That collection of engines is only half of what he has got the rest are stored on private land some where, Jeff and Joe are well known on the rally field, have been e-mailing joe about the 4 Mule Team Amanco im doing at the mo, If you ever need any advice on Amancos or such like e-mail or send joe a message through Larrapman on youtube that's all I did, joe is very helpful and no's his stuff, Hope you all enjoyed the pics and vids.

That's what I thought of Stu, there is no mess, all them engines what are in them pics all go in the garage and little shed !!.
Glad you like the pics mate will be going next year and he will have some of the others out,
You can see the other engines on his other vids.

Re: A collection of engines.
Thanks Pete for putting the pics up and thanks to the owner for allowing them. I know I'd be scared of someone knowing about that little lot. As Abes put jokingly, that's greedy, trouble is when you get to serious collecting like this, there is serious jealousy too! I'm afraid.
I rather like the extension on the garage. All well made with steel trusses. This man must never rest!

Re: A collection of engines.
I have to say that they must be very trusting as you say giving there address away so others can visit but it's not just that, as most of us know engines left unattended on a night on the rally field have been the target of low life scum that rob parts for there own engine, so these guys have a lot of trust. Some of the parts that could be took off in seconds leaving the engine totally useless, taking parts worth more then the engines I buy
I'd hate for this to happen and have these guys lock up there collection only seeing them at rallies. If it was my collection LOL i'd have airport type scanners on the gates for both entering and leaving.
Rant over lol,
Stu.
