Lister D Timing Empty Lister D Timing

Yet more problems! It is nearly together though, if anyone is interested I'll post photos when done, maybe a video if anyone likes that thing or if I can manage it... At the moment though I'm struggling working out how to set the timing, it's a chain drive mag (Lucas type), I think its a spec 28DH (1940) If anyone needs any more info to crack this I'm sure I could find some!
Thanks again!

Yes it is. Place that Mark at 12 o clock so goes straight up and through the middle of the plug on the side of head if drew a imaginary line. With the mag you need to either have the chain off the sprocket or the gear with chain on. Not on the mag shaft. turn the mag in a clockwise direction from the shaft end and look at the points on the other side under the cap till you can see the points just starting to separate. Then put the gear with chain on back onto the mag and tighten up. Carefull not to move the mag spindle. Hold cam in point side with a flat screwdrivers may help.
