I found this site for nuts and bolts. The difference being they will polish stainless steel nut and bolts so should look good on your restoration jobs.

i use alot of stainless bolts with my work so if anyone is after any i have a massive box full of them if you need a particular length let me know and i will see if have them, if so i will post them free to site members. they polish in seconds on a polish mop.

For the boat engine project I bought some boxes of imperial nuts in plain steel.

I have about 100 off 3/8 BSF and 60 off 1/2 BSW spare now, available at a nominal cost.

Just found these people :- Leyton Fasteners, 0151 355 8045, www.leytonfasteners.com.

They tell me they can do BSF and Whit in various materials incl plain steel, bronze and brass.
