It's an open crank hit and miss engine + water cooled.

there nice engines, I sold my witte cheese wedge hopper one to abes (on here). wish I hadn't, that was a cracking engine. he's since sold it to a feller near him. wish I could of had it back.. oh well i will find another one some day... hopefully.

no abes just a normal restoration for Chris. he does them from top to bottom..
ive told him to start a service restoring engines, but he says he doesn't need the money and the agro. and I can vouch for him on that scale...

Yes the conrod as been made out of two different ones
It's got an aluminum piston I fitted a ford valve
It looks like this engine had been dumped in a river or some were there is not one piece that is not really pitted
Just a bit of tinkering with different parts I have lol

it always amazes me how they seem to go on for years . modern stuff wouldn't last as long for sure...
