I bought these yesterday at the Oakley sale, Villiers of course no room for anything bigger, saw some nice engines for sale, should have taken pics.
Spent 1 hr on the Mk25 and cleaned the points, coil ok, cleaned flywheel, took head off and ex valve stuck open freed that up, spare carb, clean fuel,
low and behold started first time, all for a fiver bargain I thought. The rest were a bit more expensive
Mk 7 runs just with clean fuel, not sure about Mk 10, compressor pump all ok, water pump will have to see. Plus found 2 villiers tanks in good clean condition inside.
