Just been given my first engine, so no doubt will be asking lots of questions.
I have a Lister D with no identification plate. It has a cog next to the flywheel which I'm told means its come off a cement mixer.

The engine serial number can also be found staamped on the flywheel face.

Posted some pictures in the New Projects/Restoration pages. Cleaned up the flywheel rim but couldn't see a serial number.
