Thank you. I spent the winter helping my friend on a ten year boiler inspection and mechanical overhaul of his traction engine which won’t count as a project on here! I’m going to overhaul the generator on the EEC and transfer the outfit to a wider shorter board, which will make it easier to handle. The Villiers needs a carburettor service and I intend fitting that and the pump to a frame - they are under my bench at the moment and the trolly they were on has been scrapped. I’m afraid that stationary engines have to share time with a number of other hobbies and I have no intention of obtaining more. Well, not unless something catches my eye!

Hi, that's an interesting looking EEC generating set you've got. The generator looks to be an open frame early one and I wonder if that is an EEC charging dynamo also.

It has Gamage cast into the frame of the dynamo. I think to outfit is probably  a ‘Bitsa’.

Gamages was a big store in London from the early 1800's to the 1970's, they sold everything and if you look in really early Model Engineering magazines you will see dynamo's and EEC engines for sale so may not be a Bitsa.

Hello from Kent Eec_dy10

I asked about your set because your dynamo looks very much like the EEC charging dynamos listed in an EEC catalogue I have of around 1920, if so then as Maryalice says it could have been sold as a complete set.
