How old is my Petter A1 ? Empty How old is my Petter A1 ?

Hi Engine lovers. Following on from my first introductory post I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to obtain the date of my Petter A1 Engine. Engine number is 582749 and it came to me in a very sorry state so there is much work to be done. Thanks in advance for any leads.

I contacted Jim Perkins a few years ago giving the serial number of my Petter and he was extremely helpful providing me with a date and some information on my engine. His book is very interesting too if you want to read more about Petter.
