JAP 2A Magneto. Empty JAP 2A Magneto.

Post by crabtree Wed Jul 29 2020, 13:02

I have bits from which I believe I can make a total of two working JAP2A engines and I have three magnetos amongst these bits. I appears to me that what I would call the metal horns of the magnetos are peculiar to particular back plates as the guide pins do not necessarily align with different mags. Is this also the case with the flywheels with particular flywheels being matched to particular backplates or will any flywheel work with any back plate?
