This came home with me Tuesday night after our Club meeting, one of my club friends said it needed a new home as he is down sizing, having a clear out.
I know it means I've slipped slightly into the dark side but this is different, it is a Generator with no fuel tank and it has a demand valve and a floatless carburettor as it runs on Propane.
My friend is an ex GPO/BT telephone Engineer and it followed him home when he retired, I'm assuming its a Villiers and there appears to be a guard missing that covers the pull start, its seized from standing as he says it turned over when he fetched it home.
Its made by Newton Brothers(Derby)Ltd and is 22.4 Amps and 24.5 volts, from a quick search this company no longer exists.

Joking aside, that's a neat little set.

I think I've got a pulley guard on a cowling, I will have a look later and if it's suitable it's yours for the cost of postage.

Thank you Stuart, its ironic its referred to being lightweight when on the generator its says that it must not be carried by one man Smile

There is a plate marked serial no, I've been housebound since yesterday, my Grandson shared his cold with me on Thursday and I've never been so rough, will look properly when I feel better.

This is the one I was thinking of, on a C25 cowling:

However, I suspect the one you require is like this:

Nice unit, friend of mine had one with a Villiers Mk12. Worth saving for the demand valve just incase a small gas engine comes your way Wink
