reversing rotation of wico magneto

I have obtained a Wico A series twin cylinder impulse magneto to go on a Petter PA2 engine which is being rebuilt. Unfortunately the magneto rotates in a clockwise direction from the drive end but the engine rotates in the opposite direction. I have heard that the direction of the magneto can be reversed. Does anyone know if this is possible and how it is done. I have access to a single cylinder magneto which rotates in the desired direction, can the impulse mechanism be changed onto the twin cylinder magneto. I understand that the points cam may need to be modified.
If anyone has info on this I will be more than grateful.

I have info on Lucas, rather than WICO, mag but it might point you in the right direction.    
PM me with email address if you would like a copy, although it seems you might also need a new set of points and/or cam.

Thanks for the information, although it does not apply to the wico magneto it has given me information on the workings of magnetos generally.
I have an old magneto with a suitable end plate to mount the impulse trip arm, just need to figure out how to swap the pawls and the spring and then if it needs a new points cam and points or even if all this is possible. If anyone has done such a swap I would be glad to hear about it.

Have looked at the article. I don't have machining facilities so will see if I can get one made. Also will keep looking for a complete magneto and whatever turns up first gets the job.
