Ruston hornsby
Hello all. Just collected a ruston hornsby 8PB 3hpof a good friend. He pulled it out of a ditch 20 year ago and restord it brillianty. I actually feel so guilty cos hes done all the work and iv noting to do only start and admire. But hes scaleing down and got into models. He's a giffted man and a real good friend. But here it is. If read up a bit about the engine and no its petrol /paraffin. But what does PB stand for

Re: Ruston hornsby
No idea what PB stands for, or PT and PR for that matter. Just Ruston Hornsby model identifiers.
The IP was Industrial Paraffin, the AP Agricultural Paraffin. Don't know what OK stands for.
Rustons did use H and V for Horizontal and Vertical in some ranges of engines, particularly diesels.
