Petter av1 restoration

Good morning I've started  the restoration of my petter av1 I found  out a few years ago off him perkins  that it was the oldest one known its 600005, the 5th one built at McLaren's  in Leeds it had always been a poor  starter so I decided  it was time  for a strip down I found  the liner to be glazed I honed it out and lapped  the valves, cleaned the years of carbon and old clagged up oil, I had the pump and injector


reconditioned I need to order some new piston rings as 2 of them snapped.  the plan for the engine  will  be to run a line shaft connected to a big lathe at our local tramway  group  for demonstrations which will  be nice  to give it a good workout.
