Re: New project......and first
hi there
some pics of phils latest purchase and progress on villiers and trolley building
Kev, few more bits done, some filling of 2 dents, flatted, and 2nd coat of
primer, I think the mistake i made on the first coat of primer were 1; to warm
in shed 2; worked the paint to much 3; didn't load my brush enough,
i
was pleased after wet n drying it how most of the lines disapeared. will
flatten the 2nd coat off tomorrow
catch you later

Re: New project......and first
Hi Kev,
Made a start on the trolley using all the Atco bits, the basic chasis is made
from the trailing seat upright joined to the A frame, the pneumatic 10" wheels
and tyres cost £10.50 for the pair, which i thought was quite reasonable, the
tank which i put on for trying is the one with the split ,i will use the tank
which we bought from Smallwood might catch you on the forum a little later,
PS. Do you khow the Dodgy looking chap spotted at Smallwood recently??????

Great to see you coming on well with the restoration and looks as if you've plenty to keep you busy.
If I was you I'd steer clear of the shed dweller, rumour has it he gets small sheds and turns them into some kind of tardis!!!!
Well done Phil,
Stu.
