Could you give us a clue about how big you'd like them to be? I presume you have the movement to go in the case.

I won't be able to measure the meter until the end of November, the next time I go to the Brooklands Bus Museum where I'm working on the control box. It is a cosmetic rebuild only so I can re-use the original movement.

I think I'd go for making one. Get a piece of plastic of the right thickness (guttering / downpipe) warm it up in the oven , press flat, and a few happy minutes with Junior hacksaw and file.
