Petter Junior weight?

Anyone know what a Petter Junior would weigh? I have my eye on one but I'm not sure how I would get it home - no trailer.

Petter Junior - I assume you mean the M type oil engine ?

Hopper cooled versions:
1.5/2hp = 115kg about the same weight as a Lister D, and would definitely go in most cars.
3/4hp = 165 kg
5/6hp = 268 kg

Tank cooled versions slightly less.

I wouldn't fancy lifting something like a Lister D into a car!, a van or SUV with no boot lip should be OK.

Just make sure it's well strapped down as you wouldn't want it joining you in the event of an accident.

Having thought about it it's way to tall to go in my pickup anyway. Looks like I need to find someone with a trailer and ramps.

Been to have a look and it looks pretty complete and tidy - missing cooling tank. I guess if I remove flywheels, exhaust and fuel tank then I and a mate might get it in my pickup. More thought required.

Made me think of the Royal Navy field gun competition, a team carrying parts of the Petter through a gap in the hedge, across a stream and assembling it on the engine line against the clock
