Ruston 6AP Exhaust Pipe + Oilers

Hello all Members, Whats the length of the exhaust pipe on the Ruston 6ap, thread 1-1/2" Bsp? also whats the recommended drip rate on both oilers with no load.

I run my 2.5hp APR at 10 to 12 drops per minute, I'm new to the engine but thats what mates who know told me, Appletop will be along later, he will be able to answer both your questions.

2.5hp engine 8dpm
4hp engine 12dpm
6hp engine 18dpm
8hp engine 22dpm
10.5hp engine 28dpm.

Exhaust length? I assume you mean from the head to the bottle? normally 6 inches but I've seen 4 inch and that looks good.

Inches, Do you mean feet? That would be a short stack. Yes starting from the bottle thread.

If you are talking about out of the bottle and to atmosphere then as long as you like, it's only the short length from the head to the bottle that's normally only 4 or 5 inches.
