No problem, Andy, arrived quicker than I thought it would.
No post (letters/parcels) here since last Wednesday, not even Christmas cards. Last Item I had took 11 days to arrive (2nd class).

Problem with Green Spark Plug Co. sent me an incorrect nut.
Rather than wait I drilled it out.
These are £3.25 each inc delivery which is competative

Oil drain extension fitted. These are available in lengths starting at 50mm through to 150mm.
They are machined from hexagon shaped billet so are very robust and all one piece.

Very close now Andy, looks like you should be ready for a Christmas Day fire up and pump test! If you do I hope it all goes well.
Best wishes of the season to you and I look forward to your next year of restorations and of course the opening of your museum.
Neil.

Good idea with the drain extension, I've fitted similar myself as the drains are not always in the best of positions!
Looking lovely!
Merry Christmas

Re: 1938 Lister 23D2H pump set
I had a great Christmas hope you all did too.
Today I fettled the gib key to give me a little more space on the drive shaft.
This gave me the extra I needed to create enough clearance to fully disengage the coupling so the pump doesn't need to run all the time.
The engine side can stay put
Whilst the pump side can now slide far enough

Re: 1938 Lister 23D2H pump set
All looks good to me, hopefully soon to be followed by a successful running session. I wonder what awaits us from your good self, in the coming year, more engines, pumps or something a little different, perhaps?
Happy New Year to you,
Neil.

Re: 1938 Lister 23D2H pump set
I want to go back to the Petter W1H and fully paint the flywheel.
I have some better donor parts for my Petter A so will revisit that.
I have several Zenith carburettors to complete.
I need another pump or an engine fairly soon.
Happy nearly New year Neil

That looks nice; better finished than one Lister would have used on an exhibition stand.

Re: 1938 Lister 23D2H pump set
Lister used to chrome parts on their engines when they were shown at exhibitions without being OTT, they could then be bought from the show stand and there are several on the rally circuit today, I owned a tank cooled Lister A that was ex exhibition.
