Had a mate pop round with batt and coil and fired first time, we reckon the igniter is the fault as it will not run with the batt lead off and the mag lead connected, the mag has been checked and re magnetised, any idea on who can rebuild an igniter chaps ??

Very happy to hear it running though, runs good bounce bounce bounce

Igniter rebuilding isn't that hard Jan, just need some mica washers and maybe some contacts for the end. I reckon if you have issues with the igniter you could strip it yourself and rebuild it, about the only thing to go wrong is busted springs or tracking to earth through a crack in the insulation.
