Lister 'd' to lister domestic pump

hi there, new to this set up,, have a lister 'd' and have a lister domestic D.E.P pump,, the pump has a 'V' belt pully and the engine a plat belt pully,, would like the pump to work on flat belt pully,, can, I replace with a flat belt pully,, what sort?, and how

yes you can , you need to uncrew the grub screw and remove the key and pull the pulley off but you might find it hard finding a flat belt pulley with a small bore .. You can use a SPA v belt and run it from the flat belt pullley from your engine .

SPA is the v belt wedge size that will fit your pumps v pulley without being too big .

oh the length is calculated around the belt in mm .

a v belt will run on a flat belt pulley ok for rallying purposes, all my milking stuff is v belt running off a flat belt
