Re: new engine
sounds nice, you can put photos up by either flickr or photobucket, I think flickr is easier but that's only because that's what I use

Re: new engine
A very nice project and all the hard to come by parts are there. An early engine with the cast iron fuel tank.
That will keep you busy! Looking at the engine and using the pallet as a gauge I would say it is a PH1065.

Re: new engine
It's all there, that is the main thing, reckon the bottom of the hopper will be cracked out though, these engines suffered with that. Should be good fun, not an engine you see a lot off, tank cooled yes, hopper cooled not so.

Re: new engine
Hello Matt,
The Law clearly states that you have to at least get it running before moving it on.
Okay so this law is not really a law but more of a request from people like me who like to read restoration threads - you seem to have a cracking engine - and as I dont have the opportunity to restore engines like that it would be great to see you do it - you may of guessed but right now I'm a bit of an armchair engine collector as, No.1, I dont have my first project.....
Good luck whatever you decide
Best
Hamish
