scammell pump engine.

hello everyone.
another engine has found its way into the shed. this time its a scammell pump engine. the engine is in useable condition and runs well, but not for long!. winter time strip down and rebuild ready for next summer. the engine was part of a batch built during the second world war for pumping water.

Do you actually pay for them/ pick them up or do they make their own way on the bus

Nice looking compact model though and Scammell should be quality enigneering - let us know how you get on.

I have rehomed a couple of engines lately.
the engine is now running well, new condenser. it has been put under the bench until the winter.
I've been told i need to get on and re plaster the bathroom. its one of those jobs i wish i never started.
