I have no info on A2. Do you know what type of Wico you need?

HI Woodman The A series engine that needs a mag is a Petter W1H No 577419R of 1951

Hi blue cat Thank you for that info now we know what I need, the next move is to try and locate one or find someone that can make up a suitable alternative from the mag that I have.

Hi Guys Just found an old Petter handbook for types A & W and states the mag as CJ 1219 but dont know what year that is for.

The Wipac CJ was the magneto which replaced the Wico A Series magnetos.

Hi Blue Cat do you have any idea when Petter started using the C.J. mag to replace the "A" and if an "A" mag could be substituted for the C.J. I have spoken to Jim Perkins but he says that most of his info is from diesels but he did tell me it was from 1951 and it was one of only 2 made then. (L/H)

The Wico A and CJ are interchangeable, just need to find a good one of either, there is some on ebay
